My Story

I have been so blessed to have found this Fabulous Company call Scentsy that stands for Simplicity....Authenticity.....Generosity...."Contributing more than you take" is how Scentsy "brings value to the world," as stated in our mission statement. To highlight how important this is to Scentsy, from now on we’ll use Generosity in place of Value when we talk about our core values. Instead of "Simplicity, Authenticity, and Value" we’ll say "Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity."   Heidi Thompson  PresidentI live in Utah with my husband I have 8 children ranging in age from 25 down to 5 yr old twins girls, and have three grandsons. My Scentsy journey began on April 27th 2008. I thought I just wanted Scentsy to be a hobby like all of my other DS endeavors. I did absolutely nothing until June 25, and I put in an order. In July I went to a Craft show with an upline director, & we did Awesome. We signed up some GREAT people and our sales for 2 days were FANTASTIC! I thought to myself, "I can do this" !!! Convention really changed my Scentsy career. When we got to Convention I had EIGHT new team mem-bers for July and I came into the meeting looking for my team. A man standing next to me said, "Hi Orville Thompson" shook my hand and I replied, "Joyce Butcher" and he said, "Joyce you are rocking this month." I was absolutely stunned!!!! How did the CEO of Scentsy know ME? So what are you waiting for?  You really have nothing to lose and everything to gain!!!   Our new catalog is launching Sept 1st and will be Fabulous!    We are going to have a great time selling all the new products scentsy has to offer.  If it is better for you to Host a party I can send out some testers to smell and catalogs and you can earn some FREE product that way.  I know once you see how easy it is to get orders for this fabulous product you will have no doubt that you don't have to Sell Scentsy,.....JUst OFFER SCENTSY TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW AND don't know for that matter. I am available to answer any and all of your questions at all times.   I provide training as well as Scentsy has a training link on the website for you to also learn from.   I think that you will find that Scentsy has given more than they take for sure...with all the Wonderful tools they provide for us Scentsy consultants and Directors.Hope to talk to You soon,Sincerely,Joyce Butcher                                                                                  When we came home from Meridian, Idaho I made a goal that I wanted to be a DIRECTOR. August was GREAT and my husband and I went to a show in Dallas. The show went Fabulous and we met some AMAZING ladies there. September was FABULOUS! We worked especially hard because I wanted to go to Boot Camp in October and tour the factory and have dinner with the CeO of the company.  I remember how excited I was!  I made Director in Spetember of 2008 and the clock struck, And YEAH, I made my goal to be a Scentsy Director!   I promoted to Star Director in January of 2010 and again it's so exciting to achieved so much with this company.  At the 2009 convention I received the Annual Mentor Award....We have met wonderful people on our Journey and only 2 yrs into our business we are having the time of our lives.   In Janurary 2009 we went to Baha Mexico on a Leadership Cruise.....Earned a trip to Banff Canada (all expenses paid by Scentsy), Went to Puerta Vallarta in January 2010 for the Leadership REtreat and in January 2011 we will be going to the Bahamas!!!  We just starting the qualifying period for our Summer 2011 trip which will be to Walt Disney World and we earn the trip on a sliding scale as to how many family members can go on Scentsy....We've made incredible friends~ and I'm extremely grateful to my Scentsy family!   We have very strong leadership we have within our Scentsy group :)   We have Conference calls once a week and we also have a Thursday training call for new consultants that I still get on to help everyone.
